mydentist Morris Street offers a good variety of treatments. They do everything from traditional metal braces to clear Invisalign aligners, giving you the flexibility to choose what fits your lifestyle and budget.

When we checked out their clinic, we were impressed by their  “Pay in 3” plan. It allows patients to split the cost into three equal, interest-free payments. It’s a thoughtful option that makes paying for treatments more manageable without any extra charges.

The clinic’s facilities are also impressive. They use advanced tech, like digital treatment planning, to make the process more effective and safe.

For more complicated cases, they have a team of experienced orthodontists who can step in. They all operate under the strict guidelines of the Care Quality Commission, so you know you’re in good hands.

That said, not everything is perfect. Some patients were frustrated about being removed from the NHS patient list after missing appointments, even when they had valid reasons like work conflicts.

Pros

  • Treatment options
  • Flexible payment plans
  • Personalised care
  • Advanced technology
  • Regulatory compliance

Cons

  • Complaints about NHS patient list removal

With over 40 years of experience, Northenden House Orthodontics has built a solid reputation for high-quality private orthodontic care, so we had to check them out.

The practice is led by members of the General Dental Council (GDC) and the British Orthodontic Society (BOS), ensuring that all treatments are provided by qualified specialists.

One of our researchers went for an undercover consultation and found out they had a consultant-led approach. This means that specialist orthodontists oversee every treatment, which helps create personalised plans tailored to each patient’s needs.

They also have a wide range of services. They offer invisible ceramic braces, Invisalign clear aligners, and even advanced digital imaging. They even use the iTero Scanner to make detailed digital impressions, skipping the traditional moulding process for added comfort and accuracy.

When we asked some patients about their experience, they mentioned how the team customises treatment plans to minimise discomfort and quickly achieve the best results. They really appreciate that the team try to avoid tooth extractions whenever possible.

However, some patients have noted that treatments can be expensive, especially for specialised treatment.

Pros

  • Extensive experience
  • Qualified specialists
  • Consultant-led approach
  • Customised treatment plans

Cons

  • Higher pricing

Denton Orthodontics Centre might have a small team, but everyone is experienced enough to give you great care. It’s also great to see how approachable they are, always ready to give you the best advice and support.

We were really impressed by the range of treatment options they offer. Whether you need traditional metal braces or more discreet ceramic ones, they’ve got it all. They even offer Invisalign clear aligners too!

We also noticed how accessible the place is. They have facilities designed to help patients with mobility challenges, like ground-floor surgery options.

Additionally, we love that they make an effort to stay current on the latest orthodontic techniques and technologies, which is reassuring. One patient we spoke to also appreciated that her specialist kept her updated on what the team was doing.

However, it’s worth noting that the Centre mainly accepts new NHS patients through referrals for specialist dental care. This might be a bit frustrating if you’re looking to get treatment without a referral and prefer using NHS services.

Pros

  • Friendly and knowledgeable staff
  • Wide range of treatments
  • Accessible facility
  • Commitment to professional development

Cons

  • Mainly accepts NHS patients through referrals

We heard a lot of buzz about Aligned Orthodontics in Salford, so we decided to check it out. They’ve been around for over 20 years and have built a strong reputation in the area.

The practice is run by Anika Maini, who’s really focused on giving each patient personalised care. The clinic itself has a chill and welcoming vibe, which is great for anyone feeling a little nervous about getting braces or other treatments.

One thing we did notice, though, is that there’s limited wheelchair access. This could be an issue for patients with mobility challenges.

On the plus side, they use some of the latest tech in orthodontics. They use digital imaging and advanced braces systems to make sure treatments are efficient and effective.

We spoke to a few patients, who shared how their treatment plans are tailored to achieve the best results. Based on their goals and medical history, the team helps patients decide whether traditional braces, clear aligners, or other appliances are the best option.

Pros

  • Over 20 years experience
  • Personalised care
  • Relaxed atmosphere
  • Modern technology

Cons

  • Limited wheelchair access

The service I’ve received throughout has been outstanding

“I honestly cannot recommend aligned enough! The service I’ve received throughout has been outstanding! Anika is amazing at what she does and the whole team go above and beyond.

They are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you so so much for giving me confidence I only ever dreamt of.”

  • Saturday: 9 AM – 3 PM
  • Sunday: Closed

Impress really makes the most of technology, using AI to help with diagnostics and treatment planning. This tech helps predict how teeth will move and speeds up treatment.

One of our researchers even went in for a consultation. It was pretty impressive how they use virtual simulations to show what your results will look like before you start.

The clinic focuses mainly on clear aligners, offering effective but discreet treatments. The aligners are comfortable and low-key, perfect for anyone who doesn’t want the look of traditional braces.

Impress also has an app that lets you track your progress remotely, meaning fewer trips to the clinic.

On top of that, they offer cosmetic dental services like veneers and composite bonding. They’re a good option if you’re after both dental and aesthetic treatments.

However, we did hear from one patient who had a frustrating experience with the timeline. What was originally supposed to be a 9-month treatment ended up taking over two years, which was a big letdown.

Pros

  • Advanced technology
  • Discreet and comfortable clear aligners
  • Competitive aligners
  • Convenient app
  • Offers cosmetic dental services

Cons

  • A few reports about longer treatment times than promised
  • Limited options for traditional braces or non-invisible treatments

The whole team have been very helpful and supportive throughout my treatment

“I would highly recommend. The whole team have been very helpful and supportive throughout my treatment. They have been quick to respond when I have a question or any issues. My treatment plan was explained to me very clearly during my treatment. The app is a great tool for follow up and communication. I’m 1/3 through my treatment and my teeth are already look really good.”

Bulelwa Bakumeni, Google review

I’m really happy with my results

“I’m at the end of my treatment now and I’m really happy with my results. Everything was explained very clearly. Dr Asia, Dr Ahmad and Dr Sundas are very friendly and they helped me with everything about the treatment. I had my X-ray, scans and aligners. I’m really happy with the results.”
