What really stood out to us about MCR Implant Centre is its in-house lab. They make their own dental crowns on-site, speeding up the process.
The patients we talked to really appreciated the team. The technicians work closely together with them to create crowns that fit well and look natural. This makes a big difference in the quality of the results.
The clinic’s expertise in implantology is impressive. This means they handle complex cases and can pick the best implant system for each patient. They even customise treatment plans to match what each patient needs.
We got to see some of their finished work, and the crowns looked great. They are functional but also natural-looking, blending right in with existing teeth.
We also love the wide range of options they offer. You can choose from ceramic crowns for a more aesthetic look or crowns with sturdier materials for those needing something heavy-duty.

We added Didsbury Dental Practice to this list because of its focus on cosmetic dentistry, especially dental crowns.
One of our researchers went in for an undercover consultation and had a good experience. She appreciated how the staff made her feel comfortable. They took the time to discuss her dental concerns without any pressure.
A few patients we spoke to were happy with the quality of their crowns. They looked natural and blended in perfectly with their smiles. This is thanks to the clinic’s skilled ceramicists, who custom-make each one to match the patient’s teeth.
While we were at the clinic, many of the patients said they appreciated that the clinic offers sedation options for nervous patients. They have conscious sedation, IV sedation, and inhalation sedation.
In addition to crowns, they handle restorative dentistry, orthodontics, and even emergency treatments.
However, some patients did say they felt a bit confused about the communication around treatment options and costs. That’s why it would be a good idea to ask plenty of questions during the consultation to make sure everything’s clear upfront.

We really loved how City Centre Dental & Implant Clinic handles dental crowns. Patients spoke highly of their consultations, praising the staff for taking the time to listen to their needs and making sure they understood the treatment plans.
We were impressed with their use of advanced CAD technology to design custom crowns. This tech provides precise 3D imaging, ensuring the crowns fit perfectly and align with natural teeth.
Some patients also appreciated that the team customised the colour, shape, and size to seamlessly match their smiles.
It’s also a huge plus for us that they’re located in central Manchester, which is super convenient. It’s just a short walk from big train stations like Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Oxford Road, so getting there by train is a breeze.
However, some patients were frustrated with the clinic’s scheduling appointments. One person mentioned that while the initial consultation went smoothly, he felt like he wasn’t taken care of during follow-up visits, especially when it came to scheduling.

If you’re after a crown that’s strong but still looks natural, their Emax crowns are a great pick. They’re perfect for anyone who wants a crown that blends in with their natural teeth.
For people needing crowns on both front and back teeth, zirconia crowns seem to be the go-to option. Plus, they even offer gold crowns, which is pretty cool since it’s the only clinic around that does.
Getting a custom crown here is straightforward and efficient. The dentist checks out your teeth to see if a crown is needed and gives professional advice on which type would work best for you, so it’s not just about picking one at random.
In many cases, crowns are made right on-site, so you might even walk out with your permanent crown the same day. It definitely makes things easier. The only downside is that their prices are slightly higher than other clinics offering the same services.

We visited the Victoria Clinic and immediately noticed how welcoming the atmosphere was. The staff were super friendly and made an effort to ensure everyone felt comfortable while waiting.
When we chatted with some of their patients, they had good things to say about how well the team communicates. Patients appreciated that the procedures were explained clearly, so they knew what to expect every step of the way.
The clinic also caters to a diverse crowd, including Polish-speaking patients. This makes it easier for non-English speakers to feel at ease and fully understand their treatment options.
They use advanced technology like computer imaging, which helps with precise diagnostics and treatment planning. Patients mentioned that their dental crowns fit perfectly and looked very natural.
However, there are some things to keep in mind. A few patients shared frustrations about how hard it can be to secure appointments, with some even facing cancellations due to scheduling issues.
There’s also a strict late and no-show policy. Cancel within 24 hours, and you’re hit with a £50 fee.
