We stopped by Mick’s Body Shop, and what really stood out was how friendly and personal the service felt.
Mick, the owner, was easy to talk to. It was clear he genuinely cared about his customers.
The range of services is another big plus. From typical auto body repairs to motorcycle work and cosmetic fixes for leased cars, Mick’s versatility is commendable. We appreciated how well-rounded the offerings are, catering to various needs.
But what really stood out to us was the affordability of the services. Customers we talked to mentioned how surprised they were by the affordability of the prices compared to other garages in London.
Whether it’s fixing a bumper or doing a small touch-up, the work is solid and often costs less than you might expect—something we definitely loved.
That said, the shop’s location is a bit of a drawback. Tucked away in a quiet road, it’s not the easiest to find. It’s also not as convenient as more centrally located auto body shops.

We checked out Venom Auto Body Shop and were impressed by how attentive their team was. They addressed all our questions and kept us in the loop from the first estimate to the final repair, making the whole experience feel smooth and straightforward.

Auto King is a one-stop shop that really delivers when it comes to variety. They handle everything from mechanical work and diagnostics to body repairs and tyre replacements (both new and part-worn). They can even do air conditioning fixes!
When we visited, we got a chance to see them in action and we were impressed. The use of advanced technology for repairs stood out. It makes the repair process look smooth, efficient, and precise.
What stood out to us was their effort to stay eco-friendly. Despite using high-tech equipment, they’ve made a point to incorporate products and practices that are better for the environment.
Another standout is how they handle insurance claims. Former clients consistently praise them for making the process seamless, They work directly with insurers, taking a lot of the hassle out of dealing with crash damage.
That said, a few clients shared frustrations about their customer service. They mentioned issues with unresponsiveness or difficulty in resolving problems after their service. It’s not a dealbreaker for us, but it’s something worth considering.

During our visit to Hills Car Body Repairs, we really liked how Darren (the owner) took the time to explain everything about the repair process in a way that made it easy to understand. He made sure we felt comfortable and knew exactly what was going on at every step.
The quality of their work really speaks for itself. Many customers we spoke to mentioned how their cars came back looking flawless, with repairs that were seamless and expertly done.
We also appreciate that Hills takes a more personal approach to repairs, customising its services to fit each customer’s needs. That’s not always the case at bigger shops where the service can feel more generic.
Another plus is the shop’s accessibility. With a wheelchair-friendly entrance and parking, it’s easy for everyone to visit.
One thing to note, though, is that their pricing can be a bit higher compared to other shops in the area. While we think the quality of service justifies the cost, they might not be the best choice for those working with a tight budget.
