We tried to call LKC Locksmiths to try out their services. We loved how no call centres or middlemen were involved during the call. We dealt directly with Alex and told him our front door lock was jammed that night.
After 30 minutes, Alex arrived. He was very professional and polite. He quickly identified the issue and even explained to us everything step-by-step. We loved how he gave some advice to prevent future problems, too.
The best part is he didn’t use any destructive techniques just to get us in.
There was also no call-out fee for Alex, even though we called him for a late-night visit. It even came with a 12-month guarantee which is a good deal.
However, we did hear from someone who had a bad experience with the team. The customer’s door still wouldn’t lock despite claiming the lock was fixed.
They tried to raise the issue over the phone but were met with a rude and aggressive tone from a staff. While this seems to be an isolated case, it’s still worth mentioning.

When our team first visited CJS Locksmiths’ shop, we had a good experience. Colin helped us get a set of keys made, and we appreciated his honesty and transparency.
Compared to other locksmiths, CJS offered a more affordable price and quick service, which was a pleasant surprise.
To further assess their customer service, we reached out the next day by leaving them a message asking for a quote. Unfortunately, it took much longer than expected to receive a response.
After speaking with some customers, we found that many also experience a delayed response. While this isn’t a dealbreaker for non-urgent requests, it could be a concern for emergency situations.
On a positive note, CJS Locksmiths appears to be highly skilled. One customer had an older model vehicle and was impressed by how efficiently they cut a spare key and even fixed an issue with the rear door lock.

John, one of the locksmiths, sorted our teammate’s front door and garage locks. He was thorough, answered every question in detail, and worked quickly.
During our research, we spoke with another customer who had a similarly positive experience. Aside from working on their doors, John also repaired a tricky PVC window lock for them, saving them from having to replace it entirely.
Beyond standard locksmithing, Access Lock Co offers a comprehensive range of services. Their offerings include emergency door openings and specialised anti-snap locks.
While their prices are fair for the quality of service they provide, we found it relatively higher than the others we’ve visited.

While we were researching, Liberty Locksmiths caught our attention because of its good reputation and reviews. When we called for a quick quote, they were very transparent with their pricing.
We also spoke with some of their past customers, one of whom had an issue with a UPVC door. Luckily, Liberty Locksmiths is an expert in dealing with those.
Denis, the locksmith, used a non-destructive entry method, saving the customer the cost of replacing the entire lock. He also uses high-quality parts from trusted brands like Yale and ERA, all backed by a 12-month guarantee for added peace of mind.
We’ve also heard that Denis is professional and friendly. That same customer said he diagnosed the problem immediately and had it fixed within an hour, even though it wasn’t an emergency.
The only thing we could point out is that, since they’re pretty well-known, some customers have mentioned difficulty securing an appointment due to high demand.

Our team also checked out Lock & Company when we needed help with a jammed uPVC door at a rental property. Right from the initial call, they already impressed us with their free estimate and clear communication.
Sam, the locksmith, arrived within 30 minutes and sorted everything out without any fuss.
We particularly appreciated their upfront pricing. There were no call-out fees or hidden charges, and we only paid the amount quoted in the estimate.
Some of the customers we’ve talked to also had good things to say about Sam. One landlord said that Sam helped him out when he lost all their car keys. Sam ordered the part, arrived on his day off to fix it, and even squeezed in another small job while waiting for the car’s update.
