Our team checked out NE Handyman Services and had the chance to personally use their furniture assembly service.
Right from the bat, we were impressed with the professionalism. Hasan, the handyman, arrived right on time with all the necessary tools, and got straight to work.
We loved his attention to detail. He didn’t just rush through the job. Instead, he double-checked every piece to make sure everything was sturdy and functional. He even cleaned up after, leaving the space spotless.
When we spoke to customers, one person said Hasan fixed his light fixtures faster than expected while maintaining a high standard.
We also love that he goes beyond furniture assembly. He also offers painting, deck installations, and even specialised renovations, like a 1950s-inspired cloakroom.
His fully licensed waste removal service is also impressive since it’s not something you typically find with other local handymen.
The only minor drawback we found is the occasional delay in responses that some customers complained about. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s something to note if you’re in an emergency.

It’s really impressive how straightforward HomeWorks GB make things. David, the handyman behind the company, offers free written quotes with fixed prices. We really appreciate this because it makes the whole process stress-free.
Beyond his skill, David stands out for his reliability, professionalism and genuine commitment to doing a good job. One customer told us that he cleaned and re-stained their decking, and when rain messed up the finish, he returned and applied another coat without hesitation.
Another person also said he had been to their house twice for various interior and exterior jobs, and he always showed up on time and delivered excellent work.

Dan, the handyman, has a tidy work ethic and attention to detail—two traits that seem to be the favourite of customers.
One customer raved about a custom gate he built and installed because of the excellent workmanship. Another person told us how he fitted a new cupboard and skirting boards to a very high standard.
Dan’s professionalism also doesn’t go unnoticed. One person mentioned how he keeps in touch, confirms dates and times, and shows up when he says he will.
There were even instances when he ended up staying longer than planned to take care of extra work without any fuss.

WJ Home Repairs handles everything from plumbing and electrical work to carpentry and general repairs. But if there’s one area that they truly excel, it’s plumbing—something that always popped up when we talked to former customers.
A customer shared how Walid replaced their toilet flushing system and checked their radiator. It was a smooth and stress-free process since he identified the problems quickly.
We really appreciate how friendly and professional Walid is. After arriving on time and figuring out the problem, he explains everything he’s doing and executes his work efficiently.
